IBA Ihsan Trust NTHP information & career counseling session

Wednesday, September 07, 2016 IBA Talent Hunt Program team started its outreach activity for National Talent Hunt Program Batch 2017 and conducted the information and career counseling session at the Korangi Academy situated in the outskirt of the city in a small village Lalabad, Korangi, Karachi. Korangi Academy is being managed by INFAQ Foundation by its generous donation and efforts with the aim to provide quality education free of cost to the children in the villages of Karachi.

Information and career counseling session was attended by 80 students (Male & Female) of Matric, HSSC part-I and HSSC Part-II studying at Korangi Academy along with their faculty members and representative of INFAQ foundation. Mr. Sohail Ayub who had invited the THP team members for the session. IBA Talent Hunt Program team provided brief introduction about IBA, its history, the present status of Undergraduate programs and detailed information about the National Talent Hunt Program. The eligibility criteria, and the overall procedure from submission of application to the final selection for the orientation session was clearly briefed in detailed in the session. The program statistics and the motivational success stories of the existing students of National Talent Hunt Program who belonged from the far flung areas of Pakistan was shared by the THP team. The session ended with an interactive Q & A session.

The Talent Hunt program team were happy to see the motivation of students for the higher studies. The session ended with the vote of Thanks by Captain (R) Muhammad Zahoor –General Manager (Operations & Projects -CDSS) and Mr. Sohail Ayub –Program Manager (INFAQ Foundations).
