I had my primary education from different schools of interior Baluchistan. In 2009 my father died, I moved to my aunt's place. I cleared my Inter exams in 2015, with not so outstanding marks. It wasn't difficult to clear aptitude tests of different universities only but to find out that no one can support me financially for my higher education. I came to know about OGDCL BTHP program in 2016. I knew this is for me; I had to avail this opportunity, no matter what. It was the only hope I had, which helped me realize that it is never too late, it is never THE END. I worked hard after that and was able to secure a place in IBA family.
Today I am proud of being an IBAian, one of the prestigious institutes of Pakistan, thanks to Allah Almighty, those who helped me in difficult times and THP team and OGDCL Pakistan.
From entering into IBA up to ending of orientation program, everything has been surprise. The facilities, lifestyle, teaching ways and other activities of your academic as well as personality development has great impact over me. It really changed my life and enable me to compete everywhere in my future.
Getting higher education at Pakistan's premier business institute is always a dream for anyone like me, hailing from an underprivileged area of the country. My family always supported my education until intermediate but this dream became insurmountable for me when I found my family unable to afford my education at IBA. This is where BTHP proved a phenomenal help by calling us for orientation program which was conducted by highly qualified IBA faculty members as well as trainers from outside. This greatly helped us prepare for IBA entrance test as well as interview and group discussion. Upon getting into IBA, BTHP offered a fully funded scholarship, bearing all my tuition, hostel accommodation as well as mess expenses along with a monthly stipend during four years degree program.
BTHP has been a pleasant experience for me so far as it has given me a platform to prove myself and now that I am a part of IBA-BTHP, I believe that no dream is unachievable until one has the asset of determination coupled with hard work.
Discipline, Environment and facilities at IBA feels like blessing. The way we have been treated and motivated was impressive for the students who belongs to less privileged areas like all of us. The education standard and efforts of Faculty and mentors helped us to learn more and more and perform much better throughout training. This is the perfect opportunity for the students of Balochistan Provided by IBA Karachi and OGDCL Pakistan.
My selection in OGDCL Balochistan Talent Hunt Program is one of happier occasion of my life. This training not only improved my skills but also motivated me towards my career goals.
When I reported at IBA, it was really new world for me. It benefited me in many different ways regarding studies, personality development and boosting my confidence. Teachers and mentors give proper attention and guidance to every student to help them to improve more and in such a short time. When I entered into IBA main campus the only words that echoed in my head were "Success is when hard work meets with the opportunity" This was golden chance not for me only but for each and every student of Balochistan. If I have to sum up this training it made me "more focused, determined and disciplined".
Consistency is the only thing which can turn failures into success. My selection into OGDCL Balochistan Talent Hunt Program is proof of it. Belonging to family with less resources. This platform gave me high standard education with no cost at all is blessing for me and other students like me.
I attended information and career counselling session of THP team at my college just for fun with no interest in fields other than medical but that career counselling session made me rethink and I changed my decision. Fallowing the process and finally selection at IBA was one of my best decisions. This training gave me opportunity to learn more and spend disciplined life.
I have dream to be successful businessman and this opportunity is golden chance for me to learn the skills, be focused and work hard to achieve my dream. The training we have received is very fruitful and it will help us throughout life.
